The first Daytona, the 6239 is a really special watch and a part of Rolex history. Our example is a beautiful piece. Early handset with small seconds hand, unpolished bezel and crown, lovely matt dial with small Daytona text. The perfect entry into the 4 digit Daytona market and a clean and correct example.

What you Need To Know:

Previously polished 1.5m case with nice lugs and light wear. Unpolished bezel and crown. The T Swiss T dial is in great condition as are the subdials. Slight marks up close to the 6 & 9 o’clock subdials, hands are in great condition. Some lume plots missing usual for this age of watch. 7205 Rivet bracelet with 71 end links is in great shape and has 13 links, clasp dates to 1968. Unserviced example.
